Full Disk Encryption
The advantage of FDE is that it requires no special attention on the part of the end user after he initially unlocks the computer. As data is written, it is automatically encrypted. When it is read, it is automatically decrypted. Automatically encrypts all information on the hard drive - including user data, the operating system, temporary files and erased files, for maximum data protection.

Pre-Boot Authentication
Ensures that only authorized users are allowed to access the endpoint.
