With this solution, you can create rich 3D technical illustrations, 2D drawings, and interactive animated sequences that accurately reflect current product configurations and support formats from hard copy to augmented reality.


What's new in Creo Illustrate 10.1
Improved HLR Options for Dealing with Transparent Parts
Description: The new options enable you to control whether transparent parts are treated as transparent or opaque, and to assign different pens to the lines obscured by the transparent parts.
Benefits: This gives you complete control over how transparent parts are handled when creating 2D figures as well as the option to use different pens for the lines seen behind transparent parts.
Associativity and Pens Support Added to Insets
Description: Insets are now associated with the template used to create them. Support for pens has also been added to insets.
Benefits: Insets that are used in a figure will now be updated when the template is updated during a standard update. Pens can now be used when creating an inset template in the standard.
Transparent Background Option Added to Raster Output Formats
Description: A new option to have a transparent background when exporting/publishing to a raster format has been added.
Benefits: You no longer need to manually remove the background from published raster images for use downstream.
A New Option to Create a Blank/Empty 2D Figure
Description: You can now create a blank 2D figure (unlinked) from scratch.
Benefits: This enables you to create an unlinked 2D figure from scratch without having to create a linked figure first before unlinking it.
Option to Remove All Unnecessary Metadata When Publishing to PVZ
Description: You can now remove all unnecessary metadata when publishing to PVZ.
Benefits: This provides you with an easy way to remove all sensitive attributes from the published PVZ files.
A New Option to Not Show Model Annotations in Insets
Description: You can now control whether model annotations are shown in insets.
